Feature
Three modes. Every kitchen type. Zero paper KOTs.
RestroBomb's Kitchen Display System (KDS) replaces paper KOTs with a real-time digital display that shows orders as they come in. Choose from three purpose-built modes: Wave mode for course-based cooking, Rail mode for station-based routing, and Cafe mode for batch-by-item preparation. Orders appear instantly when customers place them via QR code.
Course-based cooking: starters first, then mains, then desserts. Each wave is tracked and timed. Perfect for full-service restaurants.
Station-based routing: send items to the right station — grill, cold prep, bar. Each station sees only their items.
Batch by item: "3 Cappuccinos needed." Mark done by count. Designed specifically for cafes and QSRs.
Orders appear instantly. Status updates flow back to customers. They see: Received → Preparing → Ready → Served.
Customer places order via QR code. It appears on the KDS screen in the kitchen immediately.
Chef sees all order details — items, variants, modifiers, special instructions. Taps to start preparing.
When items are done, kitchen staff marks them ready. Customer gets a push notification.
Waiter sees which tables are ready. Serves the food. Session complete.
